About Málaga
Málaga stopped being only a gateway airport a decade ago. The centre now holds nearly forty museums, including the Picasso Museum in the painter's home city and the Centre Pompidou cube at the port, while the Alcazaba and Gibralfaro castle stack up the hillside above a Roman theatre. Calle Larios is the shopping spine, the Soho district the street-art quarter, and the beaches of Pedregalejo serve grilled sardines a short ride east. The airport is 10 km from the centre.
