About Dénia
Dénia marks the northern end of the Costa Blanca, where the Montgó massif drops to the sea. A hilltop castle overlooks a port that sends daily ferries to Ibiza and Formentera, and the town's UNESCO City of Gastronomy title rests largely on the gamba roja de Dénia. North of the marina the beaches are long and sandy; south, the Les Rotes coast turns to rock pools. Alicante airport is 100 km away, Valencia airport a similar distance north.
