About Benidorm
Benidorm is Europe's most concentrated beach city: Levante and Poniente beaches curve either side of a rocky old-town headland, backed by more high-rises per square kilometre than anywhere outside Manhattan. It works because the mountains behind keep winter mild, so hotels stay open in January. Most guests fly into Alicante, 60 km south, and a private transfer to Benidorm avoids the shared shuttle that stops at eight hotels before yours.

- Levante is the lively side, Poniente the quieter family side — hotel addresses matter more than star ratings here.
- Rincón de Loix sits uphill from Levante; the walk back from the centre is longer than it looks on a map.
- Winter is high season for long-stay guests, so book transfers early around Christmas and February.
