About Seville
Seville is the capital of Andalusia and the fullest expression of it: the Real Alcázar's Mudéjar courtyards, the largest Gothic cathedral in the world with the Giralda minaret as its bell tower, and Triana across the river where flamenco still belongs to the neighbourhood. Spring is the city's peak — Semana Santa and the April Feria — while summer afternoons are genuinely fierce. It is 220 km from Málaga airport, around two hours and twenty minutes on the A-92.

- Buy Alcázar and cathedral tickets online — same-day queues run over an hour.
- During Semana Santa and the Feria, processions close whole districts; agree pick-up points outside the ring road.
- July and August regularly pass 40 °C; plan sightseeing before noon and after 19:00.
