About Granada
Granada is the last Moorish capital in Spain, and the Alhambra above it is the most visited monument in the country. Below, the Albaicín's white lanes climb to the Mirador de San Nicolás, Sacromonte's cave houses hold zambra flamenco, and the tapas culture still gives you a free plate with every drink. Ski slopes at Sierra Nevada are 45 minutes away, so it is possible to ski in the morning and be on the Costa Tropical by afternoon. Málaga airport is 130 km away, about 90 minutes.

- Alhambra tickets sell out weeks ahead; the Nasrid Palaces have a fixed entry time you cannot change.
- Albaicín streets are too narrow for most vehicles — Plaza Nueva is the practical drop-off.
