Valencia Airport to the City Centre: Transfer Guide

A short hop from Manises

Valencia Airport is in Manises, about 9 km west of the city. A private transfer reaches the Ciutat Vella in 20 to 25 minutes, Ruzafa in about 25, and the Malvarrosa beach or the cruise terminal in 25 to 30 minutes depending on traffic on the V-30 and the Avenida del Puerto.

Metro or private transfer?

Metro lines 3 and 5 connect the airport with the centre and are a good option for light travellers. With large suitcases, a pushchair or a hotel far from Xàtiva or Colón stations, the changes and walking add up. A private car also makes sense for early cruise embarkations and for groups of three or more, where the price per person becomes very competitive.

Driving into the old town

Parts of El Carmen and the area around the cathedral are restricted to residents. Our drivers know the authorised drop-off points closest to each hotel and will walk you to the door if the last metres are pedestrian.

Valencia beyond the centre

Visit the City of Arts and Sciences, cycle the Turia gardens, eat paella in El Palmar on the Albufera lagoon and spend an afternoon at the Patacona beach. If you are continuing south, Alicante and Benidorm are around two hours away by private transfer.
