Distances inside El Prat are the first problem

Terminal 1 is long. From a far gate to the taxi rank can be well over a kilometre of walking, corridors and travelators. Airlines offer free PRM assistance if you request it at least 48 hours before departure, and it is worth doing even for travellers who manage short distances at home. Our driver meets you at the arrivals exit, so the walk ends there rather than at a rank queue.

What we can and cannot provide

Our comfort SUV has a higher seat than a sedan, which most older passengers find far easier to get into and out of, and the premium minivan has a wide sliding door and a low step. Folding wheelchairs, rollators and walking frames travel in the boot at no extra cost. We are not a wheelchair-accessible ramp service: passengers must be able to transfer into a normal car seat, with the driver assisting.

Why a private car beats the alternatives here

The Aerobús requires standing, luggage handling and a second journey from Plaça Catalunya. Metro L9 involves lifts, changes and stairs at older stations. A taxi is fine but you queue, cannot choose the vehicle height and cannot brief the driver in advance. A booked transfer gives you a known vehicle, a driver expecting to help, and a fixed price with no meter running while boarding takes its time.

Booking on behalf of a relative

Many of our bookings are made by adult children abroad. Send the passenger's name, flight number, hotel address and any mobility notes on WhatsApp, and we confirm in writing; we can also message you once the passenger is safely in the car and again on arrival.
