Route overview
Tamariu is reached through the Palafrugell area and a winding final road down to its small beach. It has no railway station, and public transport connections vary by season. A pre-booked airport transfer is especially practical for families arriving with beach luggage or guests staying in villas above the bay. The promenade is compact and parts are pedestrian, so drivers use the nearest permitted access point for beachfront properties. Leave a margin for weekend beach traffic rather than assuming motorway speed all the way. The one-way private transfer starts from €200 per vehicle, with the final fixed fare confirmed on WhatsApp before booking. Send your flight number, passenger count, luggage and exact destination to request the right vehicle. The 150 km journey takes about 120 minutes in normal traffic; allow additional time in busy periods.
