Castelldefels is the closest beach town to Barcelona El Prat, just 13 km away. Its long, wide beach is popular with families, kitesurfers and football fans who come to live near the training grounds of top clubs. For travellers it is a relaxed alternative to staying in the city, with quick access to both Barcelona and Sitges.
