Three Perfect Days in Barcelona: A Local Itinerary
A realistic day-by-day plan that keeps walking distances short and puts you ahead of the queues.
Day one: Gaudí and the Eixample
Start at the Sagrada Família at opening, then walk down to Casa Batlló and La Pedrera along Passeig de Gràcia. Lunch in the Dreta de l'Eixample, then a taxi or transfer up to Park Güell for the late-afternoon slot when the light on the terrace is best.
Day two: old city and the sea
Wander the Gothic Quarter and El Born before the shops open, visit the Picasso Museum, then eat seafood in Barceloneta and walk the beach to Bogatell. Finish with sunset from the Bunkers del Carmel.
Day three: Montjuïc or a day trip
Either spend the morning on Montjuïc with the Miró Foundation and the castle cable car, or take a private transfer to Montserrat or Sitges. Both are under an hour away and turn the last day into something completely different.
